I stumbled upon your blog today as I was searching the web for self-catering accommodation in Ireland. What a treat! Your blog is a visual treat and near to my heart as I finally get to plan a long-awaited trip to Ireland next April. I, too, am of Celtic descent (Scottish, Irish, Norwegian) and have longed to see Eire for many, many years. I really enjoyed your pictures, the music and the art that you have chosen to share. I will continue to check back and enjoy your beautifully done blog. Blessings to you ~ nvfrosty

Dear nvfrosty...it blesses me to know that my blog has been a great tool and a wonderful reminder of the good times to come for you as you travel Ireland. i highly recommend self catering (not that B&Bs aren't great too) but self catering allows you the chance to take things at a slower pace and you sort of get a sense of what it might be like to live there. to me (next to actually staying with people you know in a country) it's makes for a more authentic experience. keep in contact, i'd love to hear about your trip. God bless you! -Cheers, revelatorart

Love your video! I also love your love for our God! It's been 15 years since my wife and I visited Ireland for our honeymoon, but I still dream of the salt air and sweet friends we made. Thanks for sharing your memories and thoughts. My own are at http://step-carefully.blogspot.com, http://genesis1-29health.blogspot.com, and on Twitter as stepcoach and Irish-American

Dear Stepcoach,

Thank you for stopping by my Ireland blog. It's always a treat to know that my adventures can connect with others and spark sweet memories. I checked out your blogs too. And I want you to know that I LOVE PORRIDGE!!! I still eat it here in the States (now that I know what to look for!) My first taste of it was back in 2001 when I lived in Scotland. They have their own brand (like the Irish have theirs). Oh I was hooked from the first taste!
Thanks again! Have a grand day!
